The grillers guide to the perfect steak: The importance of getting the meat to room temp before cooking. How to properly prep and season the steak before it goes on the grill. The DOs and DONT’s while cooking the steak. What to do once you get the steak off the grill. How to tell if it is med, med rare, or rare, etc. and a few other pointers. We can prep the steaks during that first hour.
BBQ Chicken, let’s not FOWL it up: Some thighs indirectly and explain the indirect cooking method. Smoker box will be used to add extra flavor.. How to pre-marinate chicken, what temp you want the cooking surface at and all that. Also where to temp check the meat to make sure it is done.
Kids activities include a Root Beer Float Bar, Corn Hole, BBQ platter painting, and photo op.
