Preparing for Your Delivery:Please inform your Sales Associate if we are delivering to a town-home or a second-floor kitchen.
Please verify that the product you have purchased will fit in your home. Consider width, depth & door swing of your appliance choices. This includes ventilation (round/rectangular ducting) or gas requirements (natural gas/propane).
It is your responsibility to protect and cover the floors in your home. Our delivery team is unable to remove their shoes in your home due to safety concerns.
We are unable to guarantee AM/PM time frame requests. If you need to postpone your delivery, please provide 48 hours minimum notice.
Our delivery department will email you the day prior to your delivery. They will confirm your two-hour delivery window and your address. Please respond to the email before 8:00 AM verifying that you will be home to accept delivery. As an added convenience, we are happy to call you (upon request) 30 minutes prior to our arrival.
If we do not receive verification before 8:00 AM the following morning, we will conclude that you are not prepared to accept delivery and will have your order unscheduled. To reschedule, please call
Existing gas and built-in appliances must be disconnected and removed from cabinetry prior to delivery if you are expecting us to haul it away.
We require that the person receiving and signing for delivery be at least 18 years of age. Upon arrival at your home, our delivery team will review our sign-off sheet with you and develop a plan that identifies the best route through your home. You may be asked to clear a path free of furniture, breakables, banisters/railings and other obstructions.
If the delivery is particularly difficult or there is a potential for damage, you will have the option to sign a damage waiver to proceed with delivery. Difficult deliveries may include: improperly protected floors, narrow staircases, tight spaces, etc.
We recommend that you inspect all of your appliances and property prior to our delivery team leaving your home. Neither Albert Lee Appliance nor the manufacturers are able to address damage that occurs after delivery is complete.
Installation
Installation Hours Monday - Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Installation Phone
Let our professional installation team work with you to bring your home projects to life. Continue below to read our Installation FAQs and check out our install zone map to see if we install to your neighborhood.
Do you offer installation?Yes, please see your Albert Lee Appliance Sales Associate for complete details. The Albert Lee Appliance Installation team has a cumulative experience level of over 75 years in the appliance industry. Our installers are Washington State licensed electricians and certified by several manufacturers for their product lines.
What does the installation include? All installations include the delivery of your new appliance at the time of the install and the haul away (1 for 1) of your old appliance. Our standard installations include the basic parts (DW elbow, hose clamps, etc.) required to connect your appliance to the existing plumbing, electrical, gas and cabinetry. Your new appliance will be leveled, mounted and secured in the existing cabinetry and fully tested per manufacturer specs. New appliances may have different installation requirements for plumbing, electrical, gas, ducting, and cabinetry; these alterations will have additional charges and some alterations may be beyond our scope of work, requiring an outside contractor.
How much is installation? There are additional charges for installation of your built-in appliance. You can contact an Albert Lee Appliance Sales Associate for specific pricing. Some installations require an on-site visit for a bid specific to your installation needs; your Sales Associate will schedule your Site Review.
Will my new appliance fit?It is important to follow the manufacturer specifications for a proper installation of your new appliance. Although appliance manufacturers have made efforts toward basic standardization, no two 30” ovens are the same. When retrofitting, quite often the cut-out dimensions, along with the plumbing, electrical, and ducting hookups, will need to be altered. For new construction or remodels, your contractor should have all of the correct model numbers and corresponding specifications to build your kitchen to fit your new appliances.
When will my appliances be installed?Your Albert Lee Sales Associate schedules your installation. The routes are set the day prior to the scheduled installations; you will be notified via e-mail/phone call the day before your installation with a two-hour window for their actual arrival.
